Kayathre celebrated our Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner with Ding Feng Xiang Bak Kut Teh.

I used chicken, tofu, and mushroom with this herbal soup. It was so easy to make Bakuteh and it fulfilled the whole family’s taste.

The aroma was so lifting plus rich and the taste was so delicious. My family enjoyed Ding Feng Xiang Bakuteh and they requested me to make it again for them. Thanks to @dfxbakuteh for made our reunion dinner more memorable. ❤️

Malaysian Indians or Indian Malaysians

Malaysian Indians are a local ethnic group in Malaysia. The group is defined as local Malaysians of Indian or South Asian ancestry. Today, they form the third-largest group in Malaysia after the Malays and the Chinese. Most are descendants of those who migrated from India to Malaysia during the British colonisation of Malaya.
